Lisa Edelstein, an American actor best known for House, a Fox medical drama series. Following her upbringing by traditional Jews from Wayne, New York City was where she set her sights to study theater at Tisch. She became very involved with the nightlife scene in the city of New York, and was able to get heard from the news media. While doing so she began to become conscious of AIDS its devastating consequences. Her experience and fame, along with her personal experience to create and perform a show called Positive Me. Awake to the Wild Side, a show that she was host for MTV quickly became her new task. Once the program was over, she went on to work in movies and TV productions. She started with smaller roles, and then became established gradually as an actor.
