Kelly Clarkson was an American singer/songwriter that became the sweetheart of America after she took home American Idol in the first series. The show's win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson to fame, it also landed her a deal to RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records to release a variety of albums. Since her debut her album, she's released several albums. Of those albums three were ranked first on the US Billboard 200. The other albums came close to the top spot. She was among the most popular performers on American Idol. She started to explore music and themes after her fame was growing. Her individuality and her singing talent earned her praise from critics along with a host of high-profile awards. In particular, she's won the Grammy Award three times. Music isn't the only thing she does. She has also appeared in television and film. She is also the author of the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charitable organizations.
